RECREATIONAL MAKE-UP POLICY

In order to better serve the needs of our families, OGA has made the following revisions to our recreational make-up policy. These revisions will take effect April 1st, 2017.

Make-ups may be done for any missed recreational class, provided the family notify OGA’s front desk of the absence before the start of the athlete’s class. Make-ups must be completed within 30 days of the missed class, and any absences not reported to the front desk prior to the start of the missed class are ineligible for a make-up. Make-ups not completed within 30 days of the missed class will be null and void. Make-ups or credits will not be offered for any scheduled or weather related closures. Please note that any unused make up classes will be forfeited at the time of disenrollment.

FAQs

Q: Previously, we could only do make-ups for illness, injury, or family emergency. Is this still the case?
A: Nope! Make-ups may be done for any missed recreational class (excluding All Star), as long as you notify the front desk prior to the start of the class.

Q: What if we forget to notify the front desk of our absence?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate make-ups that we have not been notified of prior to the start of the missed class.

Q: What if we cannot do our make-up within 30 days?
A: While we understand that schedules can be tight, any make-ups must be completed within 30 days of the missed class. If you are having difficulties finding a class to fit your needs, contact OGA’s front desk and they can help with any scheduling needs.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of make-ups we can do?
A: No, you may complete as many make-up classes as you miss as long as the above criteria is met.

Q: Does this include holidays, scheduled closures, or unexpected weather related closures?
A: No, make-ups will not be offered for any scheduled or weather related closures.
