New! The Dream Team Cheerleading - "Chase the dream, not the competition."
The newest division of national competitive cheerleading is the Special Needs Athlete Division. The Oregon Gymnastics Academy is one of the few gyms in the northwest that offers a program in this division. Weekend practices will start in August 2010 and continue through April 2011. These inspirational athletes will learn cheers, dance, and tumbling, then showcase their newly developed skills at local events and exhibitions throughout Oregon. In addition to performing, they will build their self-confidence and strength in a positive and ethusiastic environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with special needs to be part of the friendly team atmosphere of cheerleading. For more information please contact
