Character Counts month is a time when we encourage and support good character in our students, providing them an opportunity to have their good work and creative benevolence recognized. All OGA students are encouraged to volunteer during October, and then submit a project displaying their work. Past projects ranged from display boards to written reports. Projects will be collected and displayed at OGA, and are due no later than November 10th. Projects will then be voted on by the OGA management team, with a winner announced November 24th. The winning project will receive a free year of tuition!
OGA is hosting a school supply drive for the month of August! Help us help local children excel in school. All supplies will be donated to William Walker Elementary School due to the documented financial need of its students: 71% of the student-body receive free or reduced lunch. Supply collection bins are located in the front office and in the upstairs recreational viewing area.
William Walker composite supply list:

Going anywhere this summer? The beach or the Middle-East? Take a photo of yourself doing a handstand and enter OGA's annual Handstands Around the World photo contest! Categories include: Best Form, Most Creative, Furthest Away, Best/largest Group Handstand, and Best Staff Handstand.
All winners receive a $10 OGA food card!
Submit photo's to the front desk by Sept. 15th to enter the contest.
Please join OGA in writing letters to support our troops. By taking 5 to 10 minutes out of our day, we can bring much joy for months to come. Paper will be provided in our downstairs party room (under the central viewing area). If you choose to write your letter at home, please do not seal the envelope. For younger children, pictures are also welcome. Please see our posters around the gym, or email Michele Wilken for more information.
All letters will need to be turned in no later than April 30th.
