Meeting Minutes

10/23/08

 

In Attendance:

Denise Roberts, Shauna Nemelka, Kaysone Schuetz, Ann Phouiphainh, Brittany Gardner

 

Meeting Called to Order at 4:38pm.

 

* First order of business - We elected the following Officers:

 

Denise Roberts, President

Cynthia Washburn, Treasurer

Ann Phouiphainh, Secretary

Brittany Gardner, Fundraising Coordinator

 

* I brought in the Warm-ups, Bows and Shoes to show everyone.  I will be taking the Warm-up Jackets to Masters, Inc. to be Embroidered on Tuesday.

 

* I went over the Competition Schedule with everyone.  All Competitions are Mandatory.

 

December 6th - McMinnville Invitational @ McMinnville High School - 8am

January 24th - Oregon City Invitational @ Oregon City High School

January 31st - 2nd Annual Crusader Challenge @ Jesuit H.S. - 9am

February 21st - GSSA1 Spirit Championship at the Oregon Convention Center

March 21st - Extreme Cheer Challenge at the Salem Armory

 

If times aren't listed, then I do not have that info at this time.

 

* I went over the budgeted items and where we were with everything.  (See attachment).  There are some items that have ? by them.  These are items that I was not involved in purchasing, so I will need to look through Invoices to find amounts or I do not know the cost yet.

 

* Brittany talked to us about the Wreath Fundraiser.  Wanted to make sure everyone was doing ok and to see if they had any questions.  We will be setting up a Table in the Lobby at OGA on Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th.  Brittany will be sending out a link to schedule Table Coverage.  It would be nice to have 2 girls and 1 Parent available per Shift.

 

* I mentioned that the new Spring Floor has been purchased and that we will be giving OGA $5000 out of the Booster Club Funds to help pay for it.  This was voted on and approved at the last Booster Club Meeting.  One of the parents wanted to know if the Booster Clubs could have a section of wall to post Plaques, Pictures, Trophies, etc.  I will check with Leonard.

 

* I will also check with Leonard to see if a date has been set for Team Photos.  If it has, I will try and have our Uniforms here in time.

 

* Our next Booster Club Meeting is on Thursday, November 20th at 4:30pm.
