Oregon Gymnastics Academy's Rhythmic Team is the largest in our region. OGA has a successful competitive team program with athletes ranging from the introductory competitive levels up to level 10. Our rhythmic team is coached in a positive manner that encourages the development of self-esteem as well as gymnastics technique. OGA has had numerous state champions, regional champions, national champions, Junior Olympic National Qualifiers, and Level 10 Visa National Championship Qualifiers.

Rhythmic gymnasts begin in either dancing stars or beginning rhythmic classes, depending on their age. In the recreational program, there are two levels- Beginner Rhythmic and Intermediate Rhythmic. Gymnasts from the intermediate level classes as well as older preschool gymnasts may be invited to move up to the pre-team level when they show a desire to learn and mastery of the basic techniques in rhythmic gymnastics. Once a gymnast progresses to team, a year or more is generally spent in each competitive level, as she develops the skills needed to progress.
